Kait Brink is a conceptual fiber artist working with extreme scale and repurposed materials. She received her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Studio Arts from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2011 and has been showing her work since 2008. She creates large-scale Knit installations using large needles creating in her studio and repurposed materials such as bedsheets and sweaters turned into yarn. Her work has been featured on Knitting Daily TV on PBS as well as at Vogue Knitting Live NY at the Times Square Marriot Marquis. She has been working on a continuous knit tube- “Meta Mega Yarn” – made solely from scraps and donations that is nearing its 250 foot mark.
